Embalse de El Atazar is a mountainous area about
80 kilometers north-east of Madrid, in which an artificial basin was built:
this arid landscape with canyons from overhanging walls appears in scenes shot
from above in "Son of Jesse James" (1965 ) (and the scene of a
gunfight between Robert Hundar and his pursuers); "Texas, Adios" (1966);
