Marina Coffa was born in Rome, Italy
on October 16, 1951. At 16 he dropped out of high school to start working
on photo stories. Her striking good looks led to an offer for an
acting job at RAI, where she worked on the television series ‘La famiglia Benvenuti’, in which she
played the role of Simona, the fiancée of Enrico Maria Salerno's
son. Then she appeared in small parts in films for a brief period of
time from between the late 1960s and ealy 1970s. She is the sister of producer Stefano Coffa.
Since 1974 she has interpreted a total of 354 stories for
the "Lancio" publishing house, of which only twelve are the main
characters. She has had for colleagues such actors as Franco
Gasparri and Franco Dani.
Marina also had a brief
experience as a theater actress working with Luca
Ronconi in the preparation of the Orlando furioso.
After marrying three times and having five children, she
withdrew from the entertainment industry. Along with her third husband she ran
an interior design business.
Marina Coffa died on March 8. 2011 in Rome at the age of 59.
