We continue to our search for filming locations for the
1966 film “Navajo Joe”. As the train leaves the town one of the gang spots Joe
and opens fire. Duncan yells out, “What are you shooting at”. One of the men
replies that he spotted the Indian and recognized his horse. All the men then
start to fire at Joe who rides across the tracks and up a hillside. Duncan
takes a shot and hits the rider causing him to fall off the horse. When Duncan
and his men run the body they discover it is Jim not Joe who dies while
explaining that the Indian was waiting at the train when he arrived.
Filmed on the old railway track near Gaudix, Spain.
