Bruno de
Keyser was born on August 11, 1949 in Maintenon, Eure-et-Loir, France. He began
his film career as a camera assistant to Sven Nykvist for “Black Moon” (1974),
directed by Louis Malle. He became director of photography in 1982 and has
worked with such renowned filmmakers as Bertrand Tavernier and Jerry
Schatzberg. He was the cinematographer for the the 1995 Euro-western “North
Star” with James Caan and Christopher Lambert
He appeared as
an actor in “Très bien, merci” by Cuau Emmanuelle
He was
appointed Knight in the Order of Arts and Letters in 2011.
Today we
celebrate Bruno de Keyser’s 65th birthday.
