Lea Massari, the Italian actress known for her acclaimed
work in European cinema during the 1960s and 1970s, was born Anna Maria
Massetani in 1933. After the tragic death of her fiancé, Leo, she adopted the
name Lea Massari in his memory at the age of 22. Lea appeared with Craig Hill in the 1968 Spaghetti western "I Want Him Dead".
