Famous Heroes of Adventure (Buffalo Bill – The Mysterious Cavalier - Cisco Kid - Gordon – Jungle Jim - Johnny Gambit - Zorro’s Whip - Mandrake – Heroic Marines - Roy Rogers – The Phantom)

At least 56 issues of this comic book were published, 51 plus six second issues (#9, #11, #12, #21, #22 and #27). It debuted with partially colored albums with Buffalo Bill (BB) and Marines Eroici (ME) by Guido Buzzelli; then presents famous adventure heroes of American production in albums with larger pagination, but in black and white: Cisco Kid (CK) by José Luis Salinas, Mandrake (MA) by Lee Falk and Phil Davis, The Masked Man (UM) by Lee Falk and Wilson McCoy, The Mysterious Knight (Lone Ranger) (CM) by Charles Flanders, Gordon (GO) by Dan Barry, Roy Rogers (RR) by “Al McKimson” (Al Stoffel and Mike Arens), Jim Della Jungla (Jungle Jim) by Paul Norris (JJ) and Johnny Azzardo (Johnny Hazard) (JA) by Frank Robbins. Finally, the adventures of Zorro (ZO) by Guido Buzzelli follow (both in dedicated albums and as an appendix to others) alternating with free-themed stories and those of the Corsari cycle (Vincenzo Ciolfi and Tullo Palasciano). The series ends with a special issue Carosello di Bambole. As an appendix to some albums Michelaccio (Pete the Tramp) by C. D. Russell and Il Signor Hufer (Dinglehoofer und His Dog) by H. H. Knerr. Covers by Guido Buzzelli.

The series was published in 1955 with issue #1 released in November and it ended with issue #57 sometime in 1956. It was published in Rome, Italy by GFB under chief editor Gabriele Gioggi. Each issue contained 16, 24 or 32 black and white pages with color covers.
