Little Known Spaghetti Western Actors ~ Fausta Avelli

[These daily posts will cover little known actors or people that have appeared in more recent films and TV series. Various degrees of information that I was able to find will be given and anything that you can add would be appreciated.]

Fausta Avelli was an Italian child actress who was born in 1969. She appeared in 18 films beginning with her first role at the age of 3 in the uncredited role of Malvina in the 1972 film “Don’t Torture a Duckling” starring Florinda Balkan and Barbara Bouchet. Her last film appearance at the age of twenty was in the 1989 TV film “I figli del vento” starring Claudio Cassinelli and Arthur Kennedy. Probably her most famous role was in 1976’s “The Cassandra Crossing” with Sophia Loren and Richard Harris in the role of Caterina.

Her only Spaghetti western appearance was as Polly in the 1975 film “We are No Angles” with Paul Smith and Michael Coby.

After her last film appearance, she dropped out of sight and I can find no further information on her.

  1. Fausta Avelli is now 54 years old but other than that I can find nothing on her. I don't even know what her final film was if she retired from acting or even if she is still acting. I don't even know if she still lives in Italy or not. I can't tell if she's married or has children and it is not known what she is doing now. Her only film credit is "We Are No Angels" from 1975 and that is all. Any further information will do. Thanks.
