Little Known Spaghetti Western Actors ~ Dan Bădărău

 [These daily posts will cover little known actors or people that have appeared in more recent films and TV series. Various degrees of information that I was able to find will be given and anything that you can add would be appreciated.]

Dan Bădărău was born in Drobeta-Turnu Severin, Romania on December 19, 1960. He’s a theater, film and television actor.

Dan studied at I.A.T.C. "I.L.Caragiale" Bucharest and was a member of the class of 1984.

He is married to actress Camelia Maxim (Bulandra Theatre Bucharest), they have no children.

While still a student, he played several important roles: Matei Boiu ("Strong Souls" by Camil Petrescu), Henry V and Richard III by Shakespeare, Tuzenbach ("Three Sisters" by A.P.Chekhov). He collaborated with Dragoș Galgoțiu, with whom he will collaborate admirably at the Odeon Theatre, where he has been employed since leaving Oradea. His debut in Oradea took place in the performance "The Cursed village" by Mircea Bradu.

He was then noticed again (character Z) in the show "Water" by Dumitru Solomon, directed by Victor Ioan Frunză, a show awarded the Grand Prize and the Directing Award at the Short Theatre Week (sixth edition, 1984).

Bădărău is married to actress Camelia Maxim [1960- ] (Bulandra Theatre Bucharest), in 1981, they have no children.

Dan has appeared in two Euro-westerns in character and supporting roles, “Phantom Town” in 1997 as a bartender and “Dead in Tombstone” in 2012 as Cole starring Danny Trejo and Mickey Rourke

  1. I didn't know Dan Badarau was in "Dead In Tombstone". I own that movie and I didn't see him anywhere in that film.
