Little Known Spaghetti Western Actors ~ Dick Alexander

[These daily posts will cover little known actors or people that have appeared in more recent films and TV series. Various degrees of information that I was able to find will be given and anything that you can add would be appreciated.]

Richard 'Dick' Alexander was a sought-after theater actor in Phoenix in the 1960s and 1970s. As an actor of the "Actor Inner Circle" he appeared in elaborate theater productions, including "The Rose Tattoo" in 1968 and "The Rainmaker" in 1969, both times alongside Nick Nolte, who was also part of the ensemble at the time. He also appeared in several film and television productions, including the TV series ‘Route 66’ and the films "Interceptor" (The Wraith, 1986), "Raising Arizona" (1987) and "Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure" (1989).

As Dick Alexander he appeared in only one Euro-western the 1987 modern day “Renegade” starring Terence Hill and Robert Vaughn.

  1. It says here that Dick Alexander was born in 1948 in Youngstown, Ohio but it doesn't give a date of birth. As for when he died, it's listed as January 1, 1997, New Year's Day and it says that he died in Phoenix, Arizona. This means that he was right around 48 or 49 when he died but as for what he died from I do not know. Any further information will do and as for verification not much is needed other than where you got your sources. Tom Betts and I already helped in some way but as for you other users it will be very difficult so please pay attention. You must verify where you get your sources from so that we can better understand who these Spaghetti Western celebrities are. We may not know a lot, but what we DO know we would be willing to share. Hope this helps. Thank You.
