Nearly fell off my office chair holing at a “layout” in the mail (from Rome) showing actress Rosella Bergamonti in scenes from her Italian Western, “The Perils of Luciana.”
Shut your eyes and get this picture: Rosella’s wearing pants, a two-gun holster strapped around her waist - and above that nothing. The world’s first “topless” cowgirl.
Westerns were never like this when I was a leading lady to Buck Jones and his horse. Takes the Italians to discover lust in the dust.
