Spaghetti Western Trivia ~ Pancho Villa and the Armendárizs



Mexican actor Pedro Armendáriz and his son Pedro Armendáriz Jr. have both played Pancho Villa during their film careers. Pedro Armendáriz Sr. ‘Aquí está Pancho Villa’ (TV 1960), “Cuando ¡Viva Villa..! es la muerte” (1960), “Pancho Villa and Valentina” (1960) and Pedro Armendáriz Jr. in “Old Gringo” (1989).

    Pancho Villa is one of my favorite bandits. But the gun he is holding in the picture below is historically inaccurate. He actually carried a Colt Bisley revolver with mother of pearl grips because of arthritis.
