New York – 1860s. Mark Twain gives an interview to a reporter. He tells him when his river pilot’s savings are exhausted, he gets a job as a correspondent for a newspaper. Soon his articles appear signed by the pseudonym Mark Twain, and are published in the Virginia City and read by the gold miners. His articles become very popular but are very dangerous for the author as they mock the vices of the omnipotent city fathers.
