Michele Cimarosa
was born Michele Cisco in Messina, Sicily, Italy in 1929. He was the young
brother of actor Gianni Cimarosa (Giovanni Cimarosa) and the more famous Tano
(Gaetano) Cimarosa. Michele appeared in only 16 films from 1963 to 1988 usually
as comedy relief. He is best known above all for the interpretation of the
Mexican prisoner in the film “Lo chiamavano Trinità” (They Call Me Trinity)
1970. Another significant role was in the film “Homo Eroticus” (1971), in which
he plays the barber Tano, countryman of the protagonist Lando Buzzanca .
Another noteworthy interpretation of Cimarosa is that in “Dracula in the
Provinces” (Dracula in Brianza), where he appeared alongside Lando Buzzanca
once again. His apperances were few and far between but they were memorable
none the less.
