Gyula Szabó died Friday April 4th after a long
illness. He was 83. The award winning actor was beloved by the Hungarian
people. The actor, had been in poor health for the past five years and died in his
home.A stage, film and TV actor he was best remembered by Hungarian western fans as a voice actor. Gyula was the Hungarian voice of Lex Barker in "The Treasure of Silver Lake" (1962), Livio Lornezon in "The Avenger" (Texas, Adios) (1966) and Jurie Darie in "Osceola" (1971).
