Little Known Spaghetti Western Actors ~ Nevanka Dundek

[These daily posts will cover little known actors or people that have appeared in more recent films and TV series. Various degrees of information that I was able to find will be given and anything that you can add would be appreciated.]

Despite humble beginnings in Croatia, Penthouse’s Miss June 1972 Nevenka Dundek managed to carve out a modest career as a glamour model in Europe’s biggest fashion cities. Born on November 6, 1951 in Belgrade, Serbia she moved with her family to Munich at the age of 14 which gave the petite blonde a jump start in the modeling business, and after only two years after her arrival in the German city she was an in-demand name. From then on, Miss Dundek bounced around from her adopted town to Rome and London looking for ways to improve her budding career. By the late 1960s, Nevenka started to appear in walk-on extra roles for various British productions thanks to her agent which was her brother, and obtained work as a page 3 glamour model, “it’s my ambition to be an international actress” she explained to Penthouse. Unfortunately, aside from one sizeable role in an obscure German film, the petite blonde had difficulty breaking into the business including a reported offer to appear in a James Bond film starring Roger Moore.

She was a Penthouse model in June 1972 and appeared in other publications like the British magazine Mayfair in 1973. What’s happened to her is unknown. Michael Ferguson reports the website WonderClub has her dead without any evidence which might not be correct.

Nevanka Dundek appeared in one Euro-western, “Ein Langer Ritt nach Eden” (A Long Ride to Eden) as Kamiah is 1971.
