     Comm: Western elements and Mexico. Probable. Both directors Umberto Mozzato & Emilio Vardannes are amongst the cast.  Mozzato a decade before making THE GOLD OF THE AZTECS had starred in several films as the character ‘Ravioli’ (all 1910). While Vardannes had made similar comedies as ‘Toto’ (1910) and ‘Bonifacio’ (1911-12). A few years later he co-starred in THE WOMAN EXECUTIONER IN THE LAND OF GOLD aka La Donna Carnefice nel Paese dell'Oro (02/26). 

     Actress Valentina Frascaroli had just married actor/director André Deed [Henri André Augustin Chapais], better known as ‘Cretinetti’.  (1918-40, his death). One of his films was FOOLSHEAD’S LAST ROUNDUP. Actor Felice Minotti worked up until 1963 (his death) and appeared in BUFFALO BILL IN ROME (1950).
