Word has been received from Asociación Cultural Sad Hill
that Spanish character actor Eusebio Ibáñez died on January 28th. Ibáñez
had a small role in 1966’s “The Good, the Bad and the Ugly”. He played an
injured Confederate soldier who was recovering at the Mission San Antonio when
Tuco brought Blonde there. Eusebio can be seen in a tub with a bandage on his
head in the main sanctuary of the church. Born, date unknown, but he was most
likely in his 80s, in Castrillo de la Reina, Spain, he had been one the actors
honored at the dedication of Sad Hill Cemetery and had returned several times
for their annual festival. He leaves his wife Angelines
