RIP Eusebio Ibáñez

Word has been received from Asociación Cultural Sad Hill that Spanish character actor Eusebio Ibáñez died on January 28th. Ibáñez had a small role in 1966’s “The Good, the Bad and the Ugly”. He played an injured Confederate soldier who was recovering at the Mission San Antonio when Tuco brought Blonde there. Eusebio can be seen in a tub with a bandage on his head in the main sanctuary of the church. Born, date unknown, but he was most likely in his 80s, in Castrillo de la Reina, Spain, he had been one the actors honored at the dedication of Sad Hill Cemetery and had returned several times for their annual festival.
