[These daily posts will cover little known actors or people that have appeared in more recent films and TV series. Various degrees of information that I was able to find will be given and anything that you can add would be appreciated.]
Stefano Ceccarelli was a distinctive-looking bald man that appears in numerous peplum movies from the 1950s and 60s, and much like his colleagues Veriano Ginesi and Amerigo Santarelli (whom he frequently appears with), he specialised in playing parts as a torturer. He was the father of actors Pietro Ceccarelli and Lanfranco Ceccarelli. I can no specific date or place of birth but most likely in Italy around the turn of the 20th century as his sons were born in 1926 and 1931.
Stefano appeared in fifty-three films between 1951 and 1975
Ceccarelli’s appeared in two Spaghetti westerns: “I magnifici brutos del West” (The Magnificent Brutes of the West) in 1964 as Chief Eagle’s Beak credited as George Steele.
