As we know most of the Euro-westerns were co-productions from Italy, Spain, Germany and France which incorporated British and American actors to gain a worldwide audience. The films were shot silent and then dubbed into the various languages where they were sold for distribution. That means Italian, Spanish, German, French and English voice actors were hired to dub the films. Even actors from the countries where the film was to be shown were often dubbed by voice actors for various reasons such as the actors were already busy making another film, they wanted to be paid additional salaries for dubbing their voices, the actor’s voice didn’t fit the character they were playing, accidents to the actors and in some cases even death before the film could be dubbed.
I’ll list a Euro-western and the (I) Italian, (S)

in a while a bio on a specific voice actor as in Europe these actors are as
well-known as the actors they voiced.

Beate Hasenau (1936 – 2003)
Beate Hasenau was born in Frankfurt, Main, Germany on April 15, 1936. He completed a commercial apprenticeship and took acting and singing lessons at the same time. After initially working at theatres in Frankfurt, the artist then became known above all for performances in the cabaret Die Stachelschweine. She was also a guest at the Munich Laughing and Shooting Society several times.
Hasenau became a voice actor and dubber in 1961 dubbing Gina Lollobrigida, Monica Vitti, Raquel Welch and Barbara Ewing, Claudia Cardinale, Beatrice Arthur and Anita Ekberg. From about 1969 she worked together with Erwin Palm and Felix Knemöller at RIAS as a presenter of the program Musicbox.
She has also appeared in Walt Disney animated films, including both German dubs of Ariel, the Mermaid (as 'Sea Witch Ursula' and her sister 'Morgana'), Cap and Capper (as 'Big Mama'), 101 Dalmatians (as 'Cruella De Vil') and Bernard and Bianca (as 'Madame Medusa'). She also lent her voice to the 'Mouse Queen' in the animated film The Nutcracker Prince, to the character 'Lexy' in the anime series Wanted, Discovered, Invented and in 2002 to 'Mama Dorita' in the PC game Runaway: A Road Adventure.
As an actress, Beate Hasenau could be seen in episodes of the series ‘Ein Heim für Tiere’, ‘Der Alte’, ‘Großstadtrevier’ and ‘Die Männer vom K3’, among others. In these appearances, she often portrayed ladies of the demimonde with her own smoky voice.
Beate Hasenau died on October 1, 2003, in Hamburg at the
age of 67 from cancer at the Hamburg Leuchtfeuer Hospice.
