Reginald ‘Ken’ Buckle was born in Banbury, Oxfordshire, England on May 10, 1918. He was a British actor, stuntman, and horse master. Among his most important films were: “Treasure Island” (1950), “The Vikings” (1958), “Exodus” (1960), “Cleopatra” and “Lawrence of Arabia” in 1962, “The Dirty Doze” (1967) Spies Like Us (1985), The Message (1976), First Knight (1995), and Willow (1988). Buckle also worked in television.
He died in Ealing, London on November 21, 1994, at the age of 76.
Buckle performed stunts in two Euro-westerns: “Shalako” in 1968 and “The Man Called Noon” in 1973.
