Amelia Victoria Goyanes Muñoz was born in Madrid, Spain on June 23, 1938. She is the daughter of actress Mimí Muñoz and producer, director, assistant director, writer, composer, actor, singer Vittorio De Sica [1901-1974]. The sister of actresses Mara Goyanes (Mara Goyanes Muñoz) [1942-2006], Concha Goyanes (Concepción Goyanes Muñoz) [1946-2016], María José Goyanes (María José Goyanes Muñoz) [1948-    ], and David Merlo. One of her aunts is actress Pilar Muñoz (Pilar Muñoz Ruiz) [1911-1980].

Vicky began her career in 1957, is best remembered for her appearances In “Son of the Red Corsair” (1959) with Lex Barker, “The Last Days of Pompeii” (1959) with Steve Reeves and “30 grados a la sombra” (1964).

From the mid-1960s on, she concentrated on the theatre and formed her own company with her husband, the actor Ismael Merlo, whom she had married in 1973, highlighting the success they achieved with the play “El grito”.

In 1998 she returned to television to play Begoña in the series “El Súper, historias de todos los días” and in 2007 to collaborate in the series “Como el perro y el gato”, alongside Arturo Fernández.

As mentioned before, she was married to actor Ismael Merlo from 1973 until his death in 1984. They had one son; David and she was the stepmother of actress María Luisa Merlo (María Luisa Merlo Colomina) [1941-     ].
