Filming ends, the film production ends

With the last scenes to be filmed, at the end of this week or the beginning of the next, in the cemetery built for this purpose in the area of Contreras, the "it’s a take" will end in the Salas lands of the film production that for space of a month has turned our city into a cosmopolitan and therefore picturesque center.
The sequences that have been filmed in the land surrounding Salas for "The Good, the Bad and the Ugly" - this title has replaced the one that we communicated to our readers a few days ago about "The Two Magnificent Rogues" - refer to the main battle of this " western", from the Civil War, to the blowing up of the bridge, of which we opportunely participated in its construction and finally, to the most spectacular moments of the film that is already entering interior work in Madrid, Rome and Los Angeles.
Under the expert hand of Sergio Leone, the main actors who lead the cast are: (Lee) Van Cleef, Clint Eastwood and Eli Wallach, all of them North Americans.
We hope that the stay in our city of all the personnel
who participated in the filming has been pleasant and that "The Good, the
Bad and the Ugly", a film in which the lands of Salas will undoubtedly
serve as an incomparable setting of beauty, will be a success in all orders.
