50th Anniversary of the premier of “Court Martial”

 

Today marks the 50th anniversary of the release of “Corte marzials” (Court Martial). It was directed by Roberto Mauri using the alias Robert Johnson and starring Vassili Karis, and Craig Hill. It tells the story of army Lieutenant Clint Warren (Vassili Karis) is sent on a secret mission and his contact is shot and killed he is charged with the crime and court martialed. He learns he was set up by his commanding officer Captain Simpson (Craig Hill) and escapes to prove his innocence.

 

The film was actually a patchwork of a couple of films “...e lo chiamarono Spirito Santo” and, “Bada alla tua pelle Spirito Santo!” along with the addition of some knew footage in order to piece the films together. The film was given a limited Italian release.
