I have no idea who Dicky Jones is or if that is an alias for another singer. All I can do is tell you who he isn’t. He is not Dick/Dickie Jones [1927-2014] western film actor and famous for appearing with Jock Mahone on TV’s “Range Rider” series and as “Buffalo Bill Junior”. He’s also not an alias for Peter Tevis who also recorded “A Gringo Like Me”. If you listen to both recordings you can tell they are different voices.
As of now Dicky Jones identity is still a mystery.
