[These daily posts will cover little known actors or people that have appeared in more recent films and TV series. Various degrees of information that I was able to find will be given and anything that you can add would be appreciated.]
Luciano Benetti is/was and Italian actor who appeared in a dozen films between 1955 and 1967. He appeared in three Spaghetti westerns, one where he was credited as Lucky Bennett. I can find almost no biographical information about him.
A couple of interesting items came up as I was trying to
research him such as there was a married couple who acted in Italian silent films,
Carlo Benetti [1885-1949] and his wife actress Olga Benetti [18??-1949] could
they have been Luciano’s parents? Also, there is another actor named
Gianfranco Benetti. Could he be a brother or relative? I did see a newspaper article mentioning that Luciano Benetti was the best man at the wedding of actor Johnny Kitzmuller and Dusia Bejic.
