Jade Warrior were a British progressive rock band formed in 1970, originally evolving out of a band named July. The founding members were Tony Duhig (guitar) (born Anthony Christopher Duhig, born September 18, 1941, Acton, west London, who died on November 11, 1990, Somerset, England), Jon Field (flute, percussion, keyboards) (born John Frederick Field, on July 5, 1940, Harrow, Middlesex) and Glyn Havard (vocals, bass) (born February 15, 1947, Nantyglo, South Wales). David Duhig, the younger brother of Tony Duhig, played on several of Jade Warrior's albums and in every live gig Jade Warrior ever performed - apart from the reunion concert of 2008. He died 1st December 2021.
Jade Warrior broke up and reassembled several time over the years. Their last album was recorded in 2010.
Jade Warrior sings the title song of the Lee Van Cleef, Gina Lollobrigida 1972 Spaghetti western “Bad Man’s River”.
