The first three issues published "Guida intrepida" and “Il Corsaro Rosso (Renata De Barba Gelardini / Giovanni Sforza Boselli), a character who has already had an independent life in four albums of the series of the same name by Edizioni Pegaso (1952), then was reprinted in a pocket volume entitled "The Corsair of the Island" released as a supplement to Scugnizzo #9. His adventures continue in #12 of the same magazine, while the material of the four issues, with five concluding tables created by Augusto Pedrazza, is re-proposed again in 1958 in a volume with a square back entitled "Il Corsaro Rosso" published by Rama as a supplement to “Dynamite Kid. From #2 (May 1957) is part of the Il Piccolo Reporter series. In the #4 (June 1957) reissue “Avventura a Chicago” (Boselli) and “Susan una e due” (Sciotti) and in #5 (1957), which is presented in horizontal format, reprized “Around the World in 80 days” (from Corrierino). In the appendix drawings by Gaspare De Fiore. Year of first publication: 1957 beginning with #1 in March and ending in October of that year.
The comic books were printed by Art Press Publishing &Advertising Agency in Milan, Italy. Each issue contained 36 black and white pages with color covers
