In the 1966 film “Navajo Joe” the town is besieged by a gang of outlaws led by Mervyn ‘Vee’ Duncan and his brother Jeffrey. An Indian, Navajo Joe (Burt Reynolds) offers to help the frightened towns people for a dollar a head from every citizen for every bandit he kills plus the bounties on each of the outlaw. The town turns down his offer and decide instead to go for help. The good Doctor Chester Lynne played by Peter Cross (Pierre Cressoy) has offered to ride to the nearest town Wellington and obtain help. What he really has in mind is meeting up with Duncan and arranging a deal as he is the ring leader of the entire train holdup. Joe is already in the hills looking for the Duncan campsite and spots the doctor and his meeting with Duncan.
Here we see the good doctor riding along the road through the country to Wellington.
The road used in the film is in Fonelas, Granada, Spain and the photo was taken in 2020.
