After graduation from the University of Missouri he worked in regional theater and then mover to New York City. He worked on TV soap operas and made his film debut as the lead in the 1976 film “Rush It”. His career peaked in the 1980s with several leading roles. He continues to make appearances in film and television and became a producer in the 1990s. Berenger made two Euro-westerns “Rustler’s Rhapsody” (1984) as Rex O’Herlihan and “One Man’s Hero” (1998) as Sergeant John Riley. Today we wish him a happy 60th birthday.
