RIP Harry Standjofski

 


Canadian actor and voice actor Theoharis 'Harry' Standjofski died in his hometown of Montreal, Quebec, Canada on July 18th he was 66. Born on May 22, 1959, he was also a theater director, playwright and musician. He has appeared in films such as “Guy X”, “The Aviator”, “Protection”, “X-Men: Days of Future Past” and “Hidden Agenda”. Harry voiced characters in video games such as “Assassin's Creed”, “Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones”, “Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory”, and “Splinter Cell”. His plays “Anton” and “No Cycle” can be found in his book Urban Myths published by NuAge Editions. Standjofski has been teaching theatre part-time at Concordia University, where he attended, since 1986.Standjofski voiced various characters on two Euro-western TV series: ‘The Legend of White Fang’ (1992) and ‘Yakari’ (2005-2014).

  1. He was an Anglo (not French) Canadian. I knew Harry from growing up in the Montreal suburb of Roxboro, and from Riverdale High School. His first name was actually Theoharis so I presume his mother was of Greek descent. He was a very good baseball player and also loved playing guitar in his youth.
