Many people don't know that “The Good, the Bad and the Ugly” was dubbed into German before the English version! The film was also shown in German cinemas before American cinemas.
Another fact is that the German title is close to the first title Sergio wanted for the film. (“I due magnifici straccioni” “The Two Magnificent Tramps”).
