Little Known Spaghetti Western actors ~ Laci Cigoj

[These daily posts will cover little known actors or people that have appeared in more recent films and TV series. Various degrees of information that I was able to find will be given and anything that you can add would be appreciated.]

The actor Laci Cigoj was born on July 12, 1922, in Ljubljana, Slovenia. He studied at the AIU in Ljubljana, where he graduated in 1951. First, he played at the Prešeren Theatre in Kranj, then at the Theatre of the Slovenian Littoral in Koper, as a freelance artist he toured at MGL and SMG in Ljubljana, in the theatre in Ptuj and Trieste. In 1969, he became a permanent member of the ensemble in PDG in Nova Gorica. From 1973 to 1986 he was active at the Ljubljana Puppet Theatre. He has played in Slovenian and co-production films and often appeared in radio and television plays. He died on May 12, 1991, in Ljubljana.
