[These daily posts will cover little known actors or people that have appeared in more recent films and TV series. Various degrees of information that I was able to find will be given and anything that you can add would be appreciated.]
Salvatore Biondo was an Italian character actor. Probably born around the turn of the 20th century in Italy. The IMDb credits him with 14 film appearances from 1975-1990, while the Thrilling Forum has credits for him in 36 films from 1970-1993. By now he’s most likely passed away with little fanfare or obituaries available. All the Salvatore Biondo’s I can find on Ancestry.com who were born around the estimated time of his birth were born in Palermo, Sicily.
Salvatore appeared in four Spaghetti westerns; “Che botte ragazzi!” (The Return of Shanghai Jope) in 1974 as a shopkeeper with Klaus Kinski, “Il sogno di Zorro” (The Grandson of Zorro) as a wedding guest with Franco Franchi and “La tigre venuta dal fiume Kwai” (Tiger from the River Kwai) starring Gordon Mitchell and George Eastman as a townsman sent to fetch the sheriff (both in 1975) and as a fiddle player in “Zanna Bianca nel West” (White Fang and the Kid) in 1977 which starred Tony Kendall.
