Lawrence Charles Benedict was born in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada in September of 1942. He graduated from Ancaster High School and then studied at National Theatre School of Canada in Montreal graduating in 1967.
He appeared in 19 films starting with the role of Vacar in the 1972 TV series ‘The Whiteoaks of Jalna’ and his last credited role as in the 2018 film short “Riding Through Life with Love by My Side” directed by Gary Winstead.
Larry appeared in only one Eur-western as Owen in the 1976 Sci-Fi western “Welcome to Blood City” starring Jack Palance.
Larry has also worked behind the camera as a film editor on eight films.
Benedict was married to actress Susan Carol Hannon in 1981 but it appears they have separated.
Today Larry lives in Northridge, California and is semi-retired and finished writing a book on acting entitled Sculpting Tonight in 2022.
