Spaghetti Western Trivia – Siringo

In Sergio Sollima’s 1967’s “Face to Face” the character Charley 'Chas' A. Siringo played by William Berger appears. There really was a Charlie Siringo in the Old West and he did what the character in the film does. He worked as an agent for Pinkerton Detective Agency. His name and character appear in several western films but in real life he was “On the trail of several” well known western outlaws but in reality, NEVER caught a one.

  1. The name Charlie Siringo gets thrown out there a lot in Western films. Siringo is the character I will be using for a movie I'll be working on in the future called, "Frontier Detective". It will focus on Charlie Siringo himself and his contribution to the Pinkertons in the days of the Old West. At last, an actual film ABOUT Charlie Siringo instead of just a Western film WITH Charlie Siringo. Wish me luck. Ciao.
