Little Known Spaghetti Western Actors ~ Jake Austin

[These daily posts will cover little known actors or people that have appeared in more recent films and TV series. Various degrees of information that I was able to find will be given and anything that you can add would be appreciated.]

Jake Toranzo Austin Szymanski was born in New York City on December 3, 1994. The son of  Giny Rodriguez Toranzo and Joe Szymanski His middle initial is taken from his mother's name Toranzo. He has a younger sister, actress Ava Szymanski. His father has Polish, English, and Irish ancestry, and his mother is of Puerto Rican, Argentinian, and Spanish descent. Jake started acting at age of seven in commercials. His first credited role was in a comedy sketch "Kid 1698". Jake starred in many animated movies, but he is mostly famous for his role as Max Russo on the series ‘Wizards of Waverly Place’ (2007), the voice of Diego on ‘Dora the Explorer’ (2000) and ‘Go, Diego! Go!’ (2005), and Jesus Foster on the family/teen drama series ‘The Fosters’ (2013).

Jake appeared as Huck Finn in the 2014 U.S., Bulgarian Euro-western “Tom Sawyer & Huckleberry Finn”.

  1. I had no idea Jake T. Austin did a Western. I only know him from his work in "Wizards Of Waverly Place", which he did with Selena Gomez. Thanks for the information.
