We continue our search for filming locations for “Day of
Anger”. Wild Jack’s three henchmen take Talby out behind the ranch house and
tie his hands up with three pieces of rope which each of the three henchmen
hold onto one of the pieces of rope and drag Talby around a circular grain
thrashing ring. After they drag him around a few times over the rocky ground
they drag him up a nearby hill and back down. In the meantime Scott arrives and
is hiding in the straw. He has Talby’s gun and then whistles and throws Frank
the pistol which Talby immediately fires killing the three men. Frank tells
Scott the 6th lesson; the right bullet at the right time, well
aimed. He thanks Scott and after Scott has untied his hands Talby points and
cocks the pistol at him saying lesson 7 If you untie a man take his gun before
that. Scott replies 8th lesson; Don’t give a man any more bullets
than what he has use for. Talby tells Scott he can come with him but not to get
his hopes up as it’s a dirty life.
