Luisa
Angela Bozzo was born in Como, Lombardy, Italy on July 24, 1935. She is sometimes been credited with the
pseudonyms of Brigitte Corey or Luisa Boni.
Luisa
was one of the most active actresses in Italian cinema between early 1950s and
mid-1960s, but her appearances slowed after her marriage with the television
director Daniele D'Anza [1922-1984], in 1965.She starred in numerous films, often
exotic or in Peplum films, television dramas including, in 1957, ‘Pride and
Prejudice’ from the novel of the same name by Jane Austen.
Her
filmography includes, among other films, “Zibaldone” (1954), “Land of the
Pharaohs” (1955), “Eighteen Year Olds” (1955) “The Conqueror of Maracaibo”
(1961).
She
sporadically worked in the theater and is remembered for her roles as
Zerbinetta in “Molière” The cunning Scapino, next to Vittorio Congia, Sergio
Ciulli, Paul Falace and Sandro Damiani, directed by Roberto Marcucci.
