
He worked again in the Italian and international cinema in numerous films, getting small roles with important directors: “The Night Porter” (1974) by Liliana Cavani, in “The Repentant” (1985) by Pasquale Squitieri, the debut film of director Giuseppe Tornatore “The Camorra” (1986), in “The Belly of an Architect” (1987) by Peter Greenaway and the “Godfather - Part III” (1990) by Francis Ford Coppola. Masé appeared in two Euro-westerns: as the train engineer in “The 5-Man Army” (1969) and as Miguel de la Serra in 1974’s “Zorro” with Alian Delon.
In 2006, he starred in “Piazzale Loreto”, written and directed by Pasquale Squitieri, with Ottavia Fusco .
On television, he starred in several more episodes of Italian and foreign television series among the latter number the previously mentioned ‘Jericho’ (1966), ‘The Octopus 4’ (1989) , an episode of the first season of the soap opera ‘Living’ ( 1999), the second season of the series TV ‘Valeria medico legale’ (2002 ) and ‘Un posto al sole’.
Today we celebrate Marino Masé’s 75th birthday.
