Remembering Silvio Amadio

Silvio Amadio was bon on August 8, 1926 in Frascati, Rome, Italy. He directed over 20 films, also writing the screenplay for most of them. In the 1970s he became active as a producer for Domizia Film and became a member of the Governing Council of ANICA. He won a Donatello Award for the film "Una Settimana come un’altra" (1978). Amadio wrote and directed only one Euro-western "Renegade Gunfighter" (1968) with Zachary Hatcher and Pier Angeli. Amadio died in Rome on May 19, 1995. Today we remember Silvio Amadio on what would have been his 85th birthday.

    Very likely a nice man, but he was Roman catholic, of course, which minimises that a bit, of course:-))))
