Franco Migliacci was born on May 1, 1930 in Mantova, Italy. The family moved to Florence where Franco attended school and entered a competition for young musicians in which he won a three day stay at Cinecitta and a small role in a film by Nino Taranto. After this experience he moved to Rome and became and actor appearing in 18 films. After this he worked in television and radio. Migliacci became a screenwriter and a song writer. He wrote the lyrics for the main theme to “Django” (1966). Today we celebrate Franco Migliacci's 80th birthday.
