Director, theater, film, TV and voice actor Roger Lumont
died on December 4th in France at the age of 91. He was born in Les
Lilas, Seine-Saint-Denis, France on February 21, 1934. He quickly enrolled to
take theatre classes and then joined the Cours Simon in 1960. Spotted by
directors and directors, Roger Lumont took his first steps in Robert Dhéry’s “La
Grosse Valse”, alongside Louis de Funès. Appreciating the middle of the seventh
art, he continued in supporting roles as in “The Constable in New York”, to everyone
he is beautiful, to everyone he is kind. He was also heavily into dubbing, where
he lent his voice to many television and animated series such as Asterix or the
animated film “Fievel Goes West”. After more than twenty years in this field,
Roger Lumont moved towards direction in the 1980's and took care of several TV
series for the company Synchro France as Inspector Frost or New York, judicial
police. Lumont appeared in three Euro-westerns: “Fortune (TV)” in 1967, “Aubrac
City” (TV) in 1971 as the bandit Deuxieme and the voice of Pancho and Walt in
1978’s “Lucky Luke: Ballad of the Daltons”
