Great Adventures Albums Series

In the immediate post-World War II period, Nerbini Publisher re-released the Great Adventure book series., which was divided into various series, one for each character: Masked Man (UM), Inspector Wade (IW), Radio Patro (RP), Forest Lonely Man (SF),  

Secret Agent X9 (X9), Mandrake (MA), Cino and Franco (CF), Jungle Jim (JJ), Bob Star (BS), Gordon (GO), Hazard (HA), Doctor Wobes (DW), Captain Lifeguard (CS) and the various books series. Initially, the series was unnumbered and was published sporadically. Only in 1946 did it become a periodical with regular double numbering, one for its own and one for the individual series. In the first issues, the comic book stories begin on the inside cover, and then the inside covers were not printed. From issue #16 (#12) the internal covers feature sports reports by Vincenzo Baggioli.

The comic book series was first published in 1945 with issue #1 being released in 1945 and ending with issue #170 on February 6, 1949. It was published in Florence, Italy by the publisher Casa Editrice Nerbini under editor-in-chief Giuseppe Cartoni. Each issue contained 12 to 16 black and white pages with color covers.
