The Fort Bowie set was built for the 1970 Spaghetti western “The Deserter”. The same set was later used for other westerns including “Blindman” in 1971 and "Massacre at Fort Holman” in 1972. It was located on the Ochotorena plain in Gádor, Almeria, Spain.
