Carbine Slim

A total of 27 issues of this comic book series were published in 2 years. Non-sequential numbering. Year one #1 (21 March 21, 1969) to #19 (December 12 1969) and year two #1 (January 1970) to #8 (August 1970)

This was Onofrio Bramante's attempt to self-produce in the Italian market by translating the French edition of Carabina Slim created for Editions Aventures et Voyages.

Year I: square-backed container booklet also featuring the adventures of Rol Pam which was illustrated by Onofrio Bramante, who also wrote some humorous interludes, and illustrated columns.

Year II: large-format album, the first issues partially in color, hence the name Collana Gigantcolor Nord-Ovest, which also publishes Kwa-Sind by Onofrio Bramante. From #5 it is saddle stitched, the #7 and #8 were released as summer editions.

The G. Verri company makes the costume for the magazine's protagonist. The monthly magazine «Frontiera Nera» was announced but not found.

In the periodical Avventura Gigante (Casa Editrice Dardo) the character appears in monographic issues reprinting material already published in the booklet albums of the first series, starting from #20 (June 1972) and up to #29 (March 1976) and the end of the series. The comic book was published by EVA in Milan, Italy under editor Giorgio Pisanò. Each issue contained 64 black and white pages with color covers and were released monthly.
