British cinematographer Roger Pratt died sometime in
December of 2024. The British Society of Cinematographers, of which Pratt had
been a member since 1986, confirmed the death and said Pratt had been suffering
from early onset Alzheimer’s disease. Pratt was born in Leicester, England on
February 27, 1947. Pratt is remembered for his work on “Batman”, “Harry Potter And The Chamber of
Secrets”, “Harry Potter And The Goblet Of Fire”, the 2010 remake of “The Karate
Kid” and “Snow White And The Huntsman”. Roger was the director of photography
on the 1999 Euro-western “Grey Owl”.
