[These daily posts will cover little known actors or people that have appeared in more recent films and TV series. Various degrees of information that I was able to find will be given and anything that you can add would be appreciated.]
Lucia Cavalieri was an Italian character actress. Probably born in the 1890s, she was characterized by her large ears and flappy cheeks. Lucia specialized in playing little old ladies (usually of poor social standing) in a number of Italian films from the mid-1950s and until the early 1970s.
I can find no biographical information on her but she’s for sure passed on by now.
Lucia appeared in small almost extra roles in six Spaghetti westerns: “Deguejo” (Danger City townsman), “Uno straniero a Paso Bravo” (A Stranger in Paso Bravo) as a townswoman both in 1966, “I nipoti di Zorro” in 1968 as a trial spectator, “Spara Joe... e così sia!” (Joe Dakota) and “Se t’incontro, t’ammazzo” (Finders Killers) as a townsman, “Testa t’ammazzo, croce... sei morto... Mi chimavano Alleluja” (Guns for Dollars) as a villager all in 1971.
