Kati Bús was a Hungarian actress born in Budapest on January 30, 1945. In 1970, she graduated from the College of Theater and Film Arts in the "famous" Várkonyi class. She was a member of several theaters in the countryside and in Pest until 1989, and then worked as a freelance actress. Kati made many television movies with DEFA, in NDK, her most significant Hungarian movie role was the main role of Imre Gyöngyössy in “Virágvasárnap” (Flower Sunday) (1969), but she also appeared in the movies “A szerelem” (A Love) (1968), “Nem élhetek muzsikaszó nélkül” (I Can't Live Without Music) (1978). In all she appeared in 25 films and television appearances from 1967 to 1984.
Kati Bús died after a long illness in Budapest on November 30, 2009.
Kati appeared in two East German Euro-westerns: “Tödlicher Irrtum” (Fatal Error) as White Leaf and in 1970 as Zilla in “Osceola”.
