Who Are Those Singers & Musicians ~ Monica Miguel

 

Gloria Chávez Miguel was born on March 13, 1939, in Tepic, Nayarit, Mexico. Under the stage name Monica Miguel, she was best known as a Mexican actress, telenovela director and singer. Miguel was known for her acting roles in “I Dream in Another Language” (2017), TV’s ‘Más allá del Puente’ (1993-1994) and “Under Fire” (1983). She directed episodes of ‘Teresa’.

Monica had several recordings released in 1971. Her only Spaghetti western song was “Ballata dei capelli gialli” for the 1971 film “Vengeance Trail” with Leonard Mann and Klaus Kinski.

Miguel died on 12 August 2020 in Mexico City from cancer-related problems, aged 84.
