It's been 58 years since Sergio Leone and his film crew left Burgos.

Within a radius of 6 kilometers there are four locations that were used for the movie 'The Good, the Bad and the Ugly'.

Mediaset and Reale Seguros have joined forces to promote Culture with impact: "It's good for others".

A decade has passed since the recovery of the Sad Hill Cemetery, a corner of Burgos where the end of 'The Good, the Bad and the Ugly' was filmed, thanks to a group of fans of the film who now want to recover another emblematic setting: the Betterville prison camp.

"A lot of soldiers from the Burgos barracks participated in the filming and were sent there to help with construction. They built the Langston Bridge, which is later blown up, and they participated in the construction of the Sad Hill cemetery and the Betterville prison camp," Daniel explains.

Betterville is the new target to be rebuilt, turning the misfortune of a fire two years ago on Mount Silos into the perfect opportunity.

"Wood from trees burned in the Mount Silos fire are going to be used to rebuild the palisade," says Daniel, so that cinema continues to be the tourist attraction that revitalizes this region.
